One Quick Thing

A full game review will be posted later, but for now, I just wanted to say - how about Sean Glennon? A team can't ask for much more from a backup QB then what the Hokies have in Sean Glennon. Glennon is a true team leader in the locker room and he fought through a gutty performance on Thursday night on a bad ankle. He's never had the level of talent that one would want as your starter, but he always plays hard and he's overcome a great deal of adversity.

Glennon has been benched twice and yet remains a reliable QB for the team and frankly he played one of his best games ever against Maryland on Thursday night. If Marcus Vick wouldn't have been an idiot, he would have been the starter in 2006 and Glennon would have remained a career backup, which is where his ability would dictate him to be. But Glennon was put into the starter's role and has always played as well as he could. We've been tough on him in terms of performance on the field, so we wanted to give him credit as he rose to the occasion the other night. Glennon may not be a top-flight QB but he is a true Hokie and it's a good thing he's on this football team.
